We are recruiting the Leader of the Nomination Committee!

Do you want to take part in one of the most important and meaningful processes behind the Student Peace Prize – identifying and selecting the next laureate?

As Leader of the Nomination Committee, you will lead the work of evaluating the nominated candidates for The Student Peace Prize, a process that combines research, discussion, and collaboration. You will coordinate the momination committee’s work: organizing meetings, facilitating discussions, and ensuring that the evaluation process is thorough, fair, and well-documented.

The work includes reading and analyzing nominations, interviewing nominees, discussing assessments in group settings, and writing the report that form the foundation for the selection process.

The nomination committee will have 5 physical meetings in different cities in Norway, as well as working together online. During these weekends the committee will be doing core work, as well as socialise and learn about peace work in practise.

The position involves close cooperation with the Student Peace Prize Board and is at the core of the work of  highlighting and empowering students who dedicate their time to promoting peace and human rights.

Commitment: approximately 5–10 hours per week from February to June, with additional time during working weekends and report writing
