Amalie Ystebø If you have walked down Karl Johan street in Oslo, you have most likely noticed the banners appearing in the street. The street is decorated with banners to honour the laureate of the Student Peace Prize 2021.

Right now, the Turkish student organization METU LGBTI+ Solidarity was supposed to be in Norway to take part in the traditional Peace Tour, visiting several universities and decision-makers in Norway, to raise awareness of their cause, and to receive their prize. Due to the pandemic situation, their visit to Norway had to be cancelled.
Still, we mark their reception of the prize with a digital ceremony on the 14th of February at 18:30 CET. Read more here.
